BURNEY AIRSHIP SCHEME

LONDON May 5. The Evening Standard States that Cabinet Committee, including Lord Chelmsford, Mr. J. H. Thomas and Lord Thomson, met to-day to decide the fate of Burney’s airship scheme. The committee have already examined many witnesses. Cabinet will probably authorise the construction of two airships far superior to any in the world for the service to India. The new scheme may, involve the expenditure of a million.
