The American-bred Judge Hancock, whose handicap was with held pending particulars, has been placed ou the limit in the Eden Handicap at the Auckland trots. N.Z. METROPOLITAN CLUB By Telegraph.—Special to “Chronicle’' CHRISTCHURCH, March 26. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club will distribute £39,500 in stakes next season, the same amount as last season. The New Zealand Trotting Cup will again be for horses that can do 4.30 or better, with a stake of‘£3ooo. In many of the other events the class has been tightened up.
