FERRY BOAT v. HOOD
UNEQUAL ENCOUNTER. MELBOURNE, March 25. The ferry steamer Rosny came off badly in an attempt to ram the 40,d00 ton battle cruiser Hood. The Rosny’s bow and steering gear were badly smashed. A smudge on the paint of the starboard quarter is the only indication that the Hood has been engaged.
