SHOT BY A SENTRY
ENGLISH WOMAN’S TRAGIC FATE. Received March 25, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, March 25. The Daily Express’ Rome correspondent says: An Englishwoman, Mrs. Mary Eveline Thilbrick, aged fifty, was shot dead near a powder magazine at Genoa by a sentry, who stated that she took no heed of a challenge to halt. She had been staying at Hotel Isotta since Friday. It is understood she was well to do and had been travelling the world for twelve years.
