TEHERAN, March 17. The Republican movement is making headway in Persia. The matter will probably be brought to the Mejiliss, and there is every possibility of it being passed. The Progressive Party favouring the dethronement of the Shah and the establishment of a Rpublic has issued a statement to this effect. Backed by the Socialists they form a majority of the Mejiliss.
