Weather dull and overcast at times, especially in East Coast districts. Barometer has a ) falling tendency. KISMET WRAGGE’S FORECAST. By Telegraph—Special to ‘ i Chronicle. ” AUCKLAND, March 18. Forecast for seven days.—Temporarily fair to fine, cloudy under influence of high pressure system which is now’ passing into west longitude. A new Antarctic disturbance named Occasio is expected shortly. Its northern edge may amalgamate with a tropical Repression now off the North Cape and cause squally and rainy weather with a tendency to electric disturbance, and jfresh to heavy winds in conjunction with the autumnal equinox from bekween E.N.E., N. and N.W., later veering by W. toward S. when conditions should become cooler and again improve about the close of the period. Sea rising. (The above forecast was specially made by Mr. Kismet Wragge, F.R.Met. S,. for the area of which Wanganui is the centre).
