Abrahan and Williams Ltd., report on Feilding sale held on 14th inst: We had a very heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was a good demand throughout for all classes*' of stock. Young steers and good condition bullocks met a ready sale. Rape lambs and good ewes were keenly sought after. We quote:—Fat sheep:—ewes, 20s. 6d. to 225. 3d.; wethers 275. 4d. to 305.; maiden ewes and wethers, 365. Id.; rape lambs 165., 16s. 6d., 16s. 9., 18s.- 4d., 225. to 245.; store lambs, 10s., 13s. 10d., 14s. lOd. to 15s. 6d. 2 tooth ewes, 225., 295. 3d., to 325. 4d., 4 and 5 year ewes, 175., 195., 21s. 2d., 21s. 10d., 235., 255. 9d., 265. 9d. to 265. lOd. forward eWes 19s. 9d., S.D. rams, Signs. RAETIHI STOCK SALE. The combined auctioneers held their regular sale at Raetihi on Friday. The yarding was only moderate and there were few buyers present. The following prices were realised: Lambs, m.s., 16/-, 17/8 to 17/9; good 2-th ewes, 30/-; cull ewes, 4/6; cull lambs, 9/-; 2-th wethers passed at 28/-; 4-year ewes, £1 Is Id; weaners 11/-; heifers, r.w.b., £3.
