SALE OF DAIRY HEIFERS. 'J’HE N.Z. LOAN & MERCANTILE AGENCY COY., LTD. wish to draw the attention of the farming community to the sale on behalf of Messrs Newland Bros, at the Associated Auctioneers’ yards, Waverley, on 20th July. 120 Jersey, Jersey cross, Holstein and S.H. 2-year empty heifers. QUESTION. —Wc asked one of our suppliers: “To what do you attribute the success of our Maoriland Company?” After considering for some time, he replied, “By taking your suppliers into your confidence and utmost fairness to all, even to your competitors.” This is one of our supplier’s estimate of us, and we were pleased to get his view. “Live and let Live,” is a good axiom at all times, and we have only done our duty to the man on the land who has home-separated cream for sale, and perhaps cannot join up with a co-operative factory. Perhaps he sat on leasehold land and preferred not to take up shares and thereby save himself worry. For further particulars write MAORILAND DAIRY CO., LTD , P.O.
