THE WEATHER
Present indications are for southeasterly to north-east winds, moderate to strong, squally at times. Weather cloudy to overcast, with rain following generally. Barometer lias a falling tendency. KISMET WRAGGE’S FORECAST. AUCKLAND, July 10. Forecast for seven days.—Temporarily fair and cloudy, followed by unsettled weather with rain and milder temperature ow-ing to the advance of a new Antarctic disturbance named Raspon, the northern edge of which shows signs of amalgamating with tropical factors. As the period evolves conditions should become colder, with snow squalls on the mountains and high country, followed by frosts and improving conditions near the close of the periods, winds between E.N.E., N., and N.W., later veering towards S.W., 8., and S.S.E.
