SALE OF JERSEY HEIFERS. Advertised in this issue are particulars of an unreserved sale of choice Jersey dairy heifers, on behalf of numerous clients in the Waimale and surrounding districts, to be held in the Manaia yards on Monday next, 6th inst. This is undoubtedly one of the best selections of Jersey heifers yet put in, in the Manaia district. All lhe heifers are by pedigree bulls and in most cases in calf to pedigree Jersey bulls. It is now evident to keen buyers that it is a good proposition to buy the best quality dairy heifers. We venture to say that even the most critical buyers can get their requirements satisfied at this sale. Remember, it is unreserved. In this issue the Egmont Auction Mart advertises a sale of 40 head of prize and utility poultry, comprising 8.0. roosters, cockerels, hens, pullets, Indian runner drakes, and ducks. All will be on view at 10 a.m. on day- of sale; the sale starts at 1.30. All without reserve. Fanciers could not do better than attend this sale as a clearance is desired. Always keen on maintaining their name for best bargains Messrs MeNiven’s announce the commencement of a series of "Surprise” days at both their shops. For five shillings special parcels of needed wear will be sold, and to gain a proper idea of the wonderfully good value to be offered reference to Messrs MeNiven’s announcement in this issue is recommended.
