WANGANUI SHEEP DOG TRIALS
The annual trials of the Wanganui Sheep Bog Trial Club arc to commence to-day. the first event lei ng the Long Head, for which 35 dogs are entered, including some of the best working sheep dogs in the North Island. ’The trial grounds, which is considered to be one of the best in the Dominion, is situated on Mr J. Mai tin’s property at Eastown. Given fine weather the club expect to have a. very successful meet ing. Luncheon, morning and afternoon tea. may be obtained on the ground.
