SCHOOL GIRL MAKES NEW RECORD HONOLULU, May 27. Lillie Bowmer, a seventeen-ycar-old school girl, set a new world's record for fifty yards swim of 28 seconds, reducing Mariechin Weselan’s former record by 4/5 of a second. Miss Bowmer swam in a tank.
