Harry Lauder, according to the Australian press, is “better than ever,” and his new budget of songs includes many gems of comedy, the principal being “Doughie, the Baker,” “Ohio,” “Somebody Waiting for Me,” “Roaming in the Gloaming,” “When I was Twenty-one,” “Now Zealand Girls are Good Enough lor Me.” In addition ho will give some of the old favourites (by request). The company supporting him includes Tom Payne and Vera Hilbord, in burlesque episodes, La Venture, in a. beautiful luminous fantasy entitled “The Venus cl Flowers,” Queenie Fenton, in songs and ballads, Daphne Ferguson, in Scottish dances, Phyllis anti Giles, in a musical absurdity, “On the Farm,” and Stan Kavanagh, the juggling humourist, who is described as tho last word in juggling.
