MAIL NOTICES.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, 1922. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23. A morning and afternoon deliverywill be made by postmen, and correspondence for delivery by postmen in the city and suburbs will be delivered on application at the Chief Post Office from 7 to 8 p.m. Posting boxes in the city and suburbs will be cleared as usual at midnight on Sunday, 24th, Monday, 25th, and Tuesday, 26th December. MONDAY, DECEMBER 25 (Christmas Day). Post Office will be Closed in all branches. Mails for despatch on Christmas Day will close at 6 a.m. TUESDAY. DECEMBER 26 (Boxing Day). The Post Office will be open in all branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from 9 to 10 a.m. Mails will be despatched up till 8 a.m. One complete delivery will be made Iby postmen, commencing at 7.30 a.m. TELEGRAPH HOURS; Christmas Day—s p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Boxing Day.—9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. to Midnight. In addition to the ordinary mails a mail will close at the Chief Post Office, Wanganui, for Wellington at 6 a.m. on each of the following days: 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd. 23rd, 27th, 2«th, 29th, 30th December, also on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, sth, 6th, and Bth January. Mall for Auckland will close at 11 a.m. and 3.15 p.m. on the following dates:—l6th, 18t.h, 19th, 20th, 21st. 22nd, 23rd, 27th and 30th December, also on 2nd, 3rd, and 6th January. The usual 1.30 p.m. mail for Auckland is cancelled on the above dates. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 27. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Panama, Cristobal, and Pitcairn Island, for specially addressed correspondence only; connecting with s.s. Rimutaka at Wellington, will close at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, at 11 a.m ; late fee 11.30 a.m. Parcels close 2 p.m., 26th. Mails for Chatham Islands, per Rama, from Wellington, close at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, at .6 a.m. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 28. Mails for Australia, South Africa, per Ulimaroa, from Auckland, close at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, at 1.30 p.m.; late fee 1.45 p.m. Mails for Australia, South Africa, and the East, per Marama, from Wellington, close at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, at 11 a.m.; late fee 11.30 p.m. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29. Mails tor Australia, South Africa, and the East, per Maunganui, from Wellington, close at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, at 11 a.m.: late tee 11.30 a.m. MONDAY, JANUARY 1. Mails for Vancouver and other parts of Canada, and United States of America, Fiji, Hawaiian Islands, Japan, West Indie, Central America, and South America; also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Vancouver (due in London stii February) per s.s.
