Forecast.—Present indications are for moderate to strong easterlies northward of Kawhia and East Cape, and south-east to north-east winds elsewhere; weather cold and fair to cloudy generally, but showery in northern and east coast districts of tho North Island; barometer rising temporarily in the north and fall soon in the south.
