THE GENOA CONFERENCE.

LONDON, March 27. The Right Hon. Austen Chamberlain, in the House of Commons, refused to be drawn on the Genoa resolution. He said the policy would be discussed on Monday, although the resolution will probably be circulated before the week-end. The Right Hon. Sir Donald MacLean said the result of previous conferences had not pacified Europe or yielded satisfactory results except the Washington Conference, which the Prime Minister did not attend. He urged an immediate general election to give the people a chance to select their rulers. Mr. Chamberlain accused Sir Donald of trying to crab the authority of the British delegates at Genoa. RUSSIAN DELEGATES. BERLIN, March 27. The Berlin Press states that the names of the Soviet delegates to the Genoa Conference are Tchitcherin, Litvinoff, Jolfe and Krassin. WILL SIR JAMES ALLEN GO? Received March 28, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, March 27. All Dominions except New Zealand are sending their High Commissioners to Genoa. Sir James Allen has not received any instructions regarding the matter. Regarding the question ot representation ot New Zealand at the Genoa Conference, Sir Francis Bell, who leaves New Zealand to-morrow, questioned by a pressman, said he quite expected that by the time he gets Home the conference will be almost over, but if it is not, probably he will attend it.
