(To the Editor.) Once more, dear friend e’re I desist, From digging at your vanity, One shaft, not more, 1 can’t resist The doubting of .your sanity. Whatever made you take to prose, You haven’t the facility > Of writing poems, your talent does Amount to imbecility. Farewell, dear friend, before I part From you and your senility. Your words and deeds, will always prove Your pitiful ability. This little poem is not from Browning; it’s from that popular author! “ Wagglespoke.” Again thanking the editor for his numerous kindnesses.—l am etc., APROPOS.
