LONDON, March 21. The Pall Mall Gazette states that Allied experts are deliberating regarding the Genoa programme. London has considered the British proposal that existing Russian debts be paid by a new series bond issued by the Soviet Government, not bearing interest for the first five years. It is stated there is every reason to believe the plan will meet with acceptance in Russia. MELBOURNE, March 22. No definite conclusion has yet been reached by the Tariff Board in connection with the proposals submitted by the New Zealand Minister of Customs. It is understood a mutual exchange of British preferential tariffs of both countries will be arranged if agreements are reached on items specified by New Zealand. The Hon. W. M. Hughes announced that the Government is issuing a public invitation to all the churches in Australia to hold memorial service’s on the morning of Anzac Day. SYDNEY, March 22. The Union' Company has definitely decided to lay up the Maheno, and members of the crew on New Zealand ‘articles will be' repatriated. HOBART, March 22. The Commerce Conference passed a resolution in favour of cessation of control of the sugar industry and an amendment of the Federal Arbitration Act limiting the Court’s jurisdiction to intcr-State industries.
