New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited, Palmerston North, report: At Rongotea Sale on Tuesday, only a small yarding of stock came forward. There was a poor attendance and competition was dull. However, vendors were out to sell and practically everything was sold under the hammer, at the following prices:— Light fat cows 38/ to £3 10/, good store cows 20/ to 27/6, aged store cows 10/ to 12/6, good store pigs 26/ to 38/, slips 20/, sow in pig £4.
