THE SPENCER HOTEL MURDER.
PANTRY BOY CONFESSES. LONDON, March 21. Jacobi, aged eighteen, a pantryboy at the Spencer Hotel, where Lady White was murdered, has been charged with the murder. The police gave evidence that Jacobi had signed a confession wherein he stated: “I hit her on the head with a workman’s hammer.”
