UNIONISM IN FOOTBALL
LONDON, March 13. A crisis has arisen in Northern Union football owing to the action of the Players’ Union in passing a resolution declining to play against any who are not members of the Union. In reply to this threat the Northern Union Council has adopted a resolution requiring the Players’ Union to withdraw their resolution, failing which the Council will, not entertain further negotiations with the Players’ Union.
