MURDERED BY SINN FEIN.

. CAVELL CASE OVER AGAIN. LONDON, Aug. 3. The Morning Post, featuring the case of Mrs Lindsay, states that her relatives have received a letter from the Sinn Fein Minister for Defence (Burgess) announcing her execution because she xvas a spy. Mrs Lindsay xvas a xvidow aged 70, and was held a prisoner /jr months before being killed. She was forced to write a letter to General Macßeady asking for a reprieve for several Sinn Felners, saying that if they were executed her life would be forfeit. It is believed she xvas executed as soon as the Sinn Feiners were. The Morning Post says it is an analogous case to Nurse Cavell’s, though the paper points out that the latter xvas tried according to the rule of a court of jpstlce, and bitterly comments on the changed attitude of the British Government in negotiating xvith De Valera, who is head of a gang of assassins which perpetrates these unspeakable barbarities. Mrs Lindsay, a xvidoxv, and a landtswner at Coachford, and her chauffeur xvere kidnapped by an armed party in February last.
