The police are busy hunting down a gang of mail robbers and counterfeiters, whose alleged head is a man named John Worthington. Their peculations total millions of dollars, Including nearly a million from a Toledo bank, three hundred thousand from a Chicago bank, three and a half millions from the Council of Bluffs (Iowa) bank. Among the effects of the gang which the Government seized were nearly half a million dollars worth of its own bonds, which have been identified as part of tfie proceeds of banku'obberies.
