THE GUYRA “MYSTERY.”
SPIRITUALISTIC THEORIES EXPLODED. SYDNEY, April 26. All the Spiritualistic theories connected with the \Guyra ghost nave been exploded by the confession of the twelve-year-old daughter who occupies the house. She says she caused the rappings for fun, and threw stones on the roof in order to frighten her sister-in-law. Previously the girl had professed to receive spiritualistic messages from her dead mother. The “mystery” referred to commenced when the girl mentioned above alleged she had been pursued by a man near her home. That night several stones struck her parents' house, and since then stones had struck the house nightly and mysterious sounds were heard. The vigile of the police and residents failed to find any solution and quite a sensation has been caused over the affair. Those who considered that spiritualistic means were responsible will be disappointed at the true explanation disclosed by the girl’s confession.
