The Council of the British Olympic Association has adopted a resolution in favour of tho creation of an International Administrative Committee at future Olympiads, and also resolved to demand a full code of rules governing Oympic games be formulated at Lausanne prior to the Olympiad being held at Antwerp, to be binding on the organising Committee. CONSTANTINOPLE, Jan. 9. A strong Greek force is reconnoitring iu the Brusa region without the orders of the Supreme Council, apparently with the object of proving that the advent of Constantine has not affected the dependability of tne Greek troops. MADRID, Jan. 9. The civil governor of Valencia, while returning from a theatre in a carriage, was fired on by a volley of thirty revolver shots. The carriage was riddled, but the governor miraculously escaped. A policeman and a child were seriously Injured. The perpetrators decamped and no arrests have been made. CONSTANTINOPLE, Jan. 9. Reports confirm the statement that the Kemalites are preparing an Important and early offensive, apparently against Smyrna. All men up to the age of 46 are being mobilised, and a big concentration of troops Is reported in the interior of Asia Minor.
