SALVATION ARMY SELF-DENIAL
£57,000 COLLECTED. SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE ALU ROCND. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 8. The result of the Salvation Army's annual self-denial effort was announced to-night. The Dominion total is £57,000 9s 9d.. an increase of £6493 7s 4d. on last year’s figures. Following are this year’s totals for the different divisions: Auckland £14,036/16/7; Central North, £20,381/12/6; Wellington £5979/1/7; Christchurch £7742 8/3; Dunedin £BBlB/10/10. Every division shows an increase.
