WRANGEL’S RETREAT.
“DAILY CHRONICLE’S” VERSION. Received Nov. 5, 8.10 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 4. The “Daily Chronicle” says Wrangel’s retreat is less a defeat than a retirement upon lines in the Crimea, similar- to Torres Vedras, which have been long prepared. Wrangel did not suffer serious loss in retreat. The situation is very difficult owing to Denikeu’s collapse.
