MOTOR ACCIDENT.

CAR CAPSIZES INTO CREEK(Per Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Nov. 4. A serious motor accident occurred at Waipatiki last evening. A car driven by Mr John McLean; and containing seven passengers, strfick an end of the Kereru bridge and landed upside down in the creek below. The-occtipants had a miraculous escape from death. Five of them are now patients in the Dannevirke Hospital. Those injured were: Mrs \V. Smith, who was pinned under the car for a considerable time and received a scalp wound; Mrs D. Mcßeth, a broken collar bone, bruises and shock; Mrs Pearce, sprained wrists and bruises; Miss Pearce, aged 4 years, fracture base of skull and other injuries; Miss Linton, aged 14 years, arm broken and injury to leg. Two little children, one a baby, escaped practically unhurt. The driver sustained bruises, shock, and cuts on face and head.
