OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IN MANITOBA.
Received August 1, 5.5 p.m. OTTAWA, July 30. The Privy Council refused Mennonites leave to appeal against, the decision of Canadian courts in upholding the right of the Manitoba Provincial Government to make English the oflicial language in schools. Mennonites had been prosecuted for using German only.
