Received August 1, 5.5 p.m. BERLIN, July 31. It is reported that the Bolsheviks’ advanced cavalry is about forty miles from Warsaw. THE PRICE OP’ PEACE. The United States Government has I received information that the Moscow Government will demand entry into Germaity and the return of Posen to Germany as the price of peace with Poland. REDS PUSHING THE POLES. Received August 1, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, July 31. It is understood that Italy has signified her intention of being represented at the London Conference with the Bolshevists. Although, according to Warsaw messages, Polish parlementaires arranged to cross the lines, last night, there is no news yet that armistice negotiations have begun. Telegrams show that the Russians are pressing home their military advantage. They forced the Narva river, near Bielostoc, and, the advance .continues southward. They have reached Brestlitovsk. The Reds forced the Poles over the East Prussian frontiers northward of Bielostok. Warsaw is pessimistic. WARSAW, July 31. Polish military experts state that the Red forces are concentrated north and south of Brody, which has been evacuated; Lemberg must fall unless reinforcements are brought up.
