! VISIT TBOM FEILDING PLATERS. AN ENJOYABLE MATCH. ' Seventeen players from the Feilding , Golf Club visited Wanginui on Saturday afternoon, and played a match with the Wanganui Golf Club. The visitors were not ambitious, and at their request i the eight shortest handicap men on the. Wanganui side stood down for the match, in older that the Feilding men might be able to meet men of about ; their own calibre. The result of the match was that Feilding only succeeded : in winning three and halving two games, Wanganui winning the remaining dozen. The visitors were hospitably enter{tabled by the Wanganui Club, being eni tertained at luncheon and afternoon tea, at. which functions the members of the ! Wanganui Ladies’ Golf Club, as usual, j rendered invaluable assistance. The {afternoon was ideal for golf, and the' match proved most enjoyable.
