The following prisoners Were sentenced I>y Mr Justice Chapman toIday:— I Arthur Henry O’Neill, alias Wil[liam Henry O’Neil], aggravated rolij bery at Dannevirke, to six mouths’ [hard labour. I Andrew Paulson, theft from a [dwelling at Petone, to twelve [months’ hard labour. [ Thomas Augustus .Griffiths, for |breaking and entering at Wanganui, I three charges, to twelve mouths’ hard labour, to be concurrent with sentence prisoner is at present serving for breaking and entering at Westport. Percival Simpkin, for bigamy at Napier, to two years’ hard labour. George William Allen, alias Nella. for theft at Wanganui and false pretences on two charges at Otaki, to six months’ hard labour on each charge- Allen was declared an habitual criminal.
