Dalgety and Coy., Limited, Palmerston North, report having a small yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle at their Hunterville sale on Tuesday, the 17th inst., which sold as below. CLEARING SALE AT BULLS. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Co.. Ltd., report having held a highly successful clearing sale at Branj don Hall Road, Bulls, on account of Mr •H. G. McDermott. There was an cxcepHlonally large attendance of farmers and ; others interested, a large number of outside buyers were also present who secured a large quantity of the stock. Tiie sheep neing all well-bred were in keen demand; the 2-tooth ewes which realised 53/6, were secured by a Raetithi buyer. Dairy cows sold up to £B5, and horses and implements were all keenly competed for.
