Bullock rode four winners out of seven at Goodwood to-day. A splendid duel I was witnessed between Carslake and ; Donoghue in the St. George’s Stakes on I the sprinters Tetratema and Diadem. {Tetratema was a lengt h ahead coming lover the hill. Diadem reached his I withers a furlong from home, but Cars- ■ lake drew- out a bit more and won a grand match by three-quarters of a i length. Tetratema is evidently the - best horse in England up to six furi longs. THE GOODWOOD CUP. LONDON. July 29. ; The Goodwood Cup resulted.-—Mount i Royal (Donoghue) 1, KentDh Cob 2, St. Eloi 3. A BRISBANE SENSATION. BRISBANE. July 30. Boy Syce, the favourite for the Prince of Wales’ Cup. and winner of the Derby and St. Ledger, died in his box as a iesult of mysterious poisoning. The colt dropped out of the Cup at the six furlong post.
