SWIMMING.
A FINE PERFORMANCE. The final of the 100 yards handicap was swum yesterday evening at the Corporation Baths, and resulted: P. Dickson 1, E. Forlong 2, Mowat 3. The winner’s full time for the distance was 65 3-5 secs., a sterling effort which came as a surprise to the spectators. Dickson’s fine performance has added interest to the 100 yards West Coast Championship, which will be swum at the championship meeting next Wednesday evening, and when he will meet Thomas and Reid.
