SHEEP SALE.

GOOD PRICES REALISED. FEILDING, January 30. What must be recorded as one of the most successful sales of stud Romney sheep held in Australasia has been concluded in the new sale ring of the Feilding A. and P. Association. The breeder was Mr Ernest Short, of Parorangi. There was a large and representative attetndance. 69 4-tooth ewes made to 12 guineas. 345 2-tooth ewes to 26 guineas. 165 4i-tooth maiden ewes to 9 guineas. 145 6-tooth ewes to 16 guineas. 320 4-year ewes to 10 guineas. 261 5-year ewes to 6 guineas. 365 ewe lambs to 5 % guineas. 303 ram lambs to 5% guineas. 82 2-tooth to aged rams made from 20 guineas. The average of 58 2-tooth rams was £75/10/-. Of 20 mixed aged rains £6O/7/-, of 15 top-priced rams £l6B, and one 5-year-old ram realised 220 guineas which must be a record.
