(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jun. 29. The Takapuna Sulmr.'-r Meeting opened to-day in line weather and with a record attendance. The totalisator put through £72,379 10s, against £48,75-1 for the corresponding day last year. After the Hanraki Hurdles the stewards held an inquiry iajo the cause oi horses falling near thF seven furlong post, and as a resuit, Dillamore, rider of Te Ton, was suspended for three months lor careless riding.
