POLICE DEAL WITH DISORDERLY ELEMENT.

WELLINGTON, Dec. 5
The police were in attendance at Mr Fred Pirani's meeting in furtherance of his candidature for the Wellington Central seat last night. The disorderly element persisted in interrupting, and a number were removed, which quieted the proceedings to some extent and the candidate was able tv procure r?.thcr • a better hearing than before.
