BAND CONCERT AT WANGANUI EAST.
The Queen Alexandra Band, under Bandmaster Shepley, will give their next municipal conc3rt at the park, Wanganui East, to-morrow at 3 p.m. The programme will open with the test march which will be played at the Dunedin contest. A number of other fine selections will be played.
We call attention to the GaMen Fete (advertised on front page) to be held on the beautiful grounds of St. Mary's Convent .(Alexander Home), at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Among the various amusements will be an entertainment by the Convent pupils, and various side-shows, including Father Christmas and his retinue. The Garrison Band will be in attendance.* Come, young and old. There will be fun for one and all. Admission free.
"Damaged Goods" drew a packed house last evening, when the great picture was shown to men only.
