PATRIOTIC DEMONSTRATIONS CAUSED.

In consequence of certain unexplained incidents, a general strike has been declared in Rome, Milan and Florence. Stoppage is complete. The strike has occasioned patriotic demonstrations everywhere. There have been no disturbances, except at Milan, where two demonstrators were killed in collision with the police.
