THE WANGANUI SEAT.
Mr W. A. Veitch, the sitting member for Wanganui, has been nominated for re-election, the following being his nominators: —Tom Boswall Williams, Leonard E. Bassett, Jas. Aitken, Nicholas Meuli, Thos. F. Dowling, Sydney A. Jarrett, Chas. E. Holmes, Jas. J. Eeles, Frederick Carter, Wm. H. Bott, Alex. E. Halligan, Chas. Sharpe.
Mr Veitch addressed the electors at the Campbell Street Presbyterian schoolroom last evening. Mr W. Bott presided over a small audience. Mr Veitch spoke mainly on industrial matters. No questions were asked, and the candidate was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
