WOOLWICH ARSENAL IN A NEW ROLE.

Mr Lloyd George visited Woolwich Arsenal and conferred with experts, with a view to developing the arsenal as a railway centre to meet the world's shortage in rolling stock. Orders have been received for 100 locomotives and 2500 waggons. It lis also proposed to make six million war medals, 10,000 milk cans, telephone apparatus, and a coinage plant.
