CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
The Wanganui Chamber of Commerce met last night. Present: Messrs A. Harris (president), T^ B. Williams, J. B. Murray, N. Meuli, R. W. Green, G. H. Pownall, L. Werry,* A. Robinson, S. Read.
Mr A. T. Cavell was elected a member of the Chamber.
The resignation of Mr F. C. Millward was accepted with regret. It was i\ ;olved to support the Taihape Chamber's request to the Department that a better telephonic service with Wanganui should be provided.
It was decided to ask that a stamps -office should be re-opened in Wanganui, also that supplies of good forms (re death duties, etc.) should be available. ni the local Post Office.
