A GOOD SUGGESTION.
#(To the Editor.)
Sir, —As a means to augmenting the total of the Tainui Relief Fund, may I ask through your columns, if Mr R. D. Paterson would be good enough to repeat in the Opera Housi-. at an early date the Scotch Concert organised- ami given by him on Monday night last in the Wanganui East Town Hall?
From start to finish the programme was full of merit and as one who heard a similar concert given in Wellington some ten days ago, I can rssure Mr Paterson that his programme loses nothing by comparison.
For such a worthy object I feel sure Mr Paterson can rely on the hearty co-operation of the Caledonian Society and the Pipe Band, also a generous1 measure of support from the public wbo are ever ready to help a deserving cause.
Trusting Mr Paterson will see his way clear to oblige and thanking you in anticipation.—l am, etc..
"SCOTTY."
