EVERYBODY'S

VIOLA DANA IN "FLOWER OF THE DUSK."

One of the many attractions in "Flower of the Dusk." the famous Myrtle Reed novel which has been adapted for the screen by John H. Collins for Metro, and in which winsome Viola Dana is starred, is the profusion of artistic effects which Mr Collins has brought into use for his latest production, which he also directed. This picture, which will be shown at Everybody's Theatre for the last time to-night, shows the visions of a blind man who, in memory, goes over the romance of his life. Scenes of wonderful* beauty are used to give the desired effect of his mental picture—moonlight on quiet waters —bare branches against a winter landscape—all these require the greatest artistry, to give them them the ethereal aspect necessary to carry out the fleeting visions of the man who can only see with his mind. In this Mr Collins, in collaboration with Mr Menessier, art director of international reputation, has achieved unlooked for success and the final results are idyllic. The supporting films will include Peggy Hyland in "Marriages Are Made." To-morrow June Caprice will appear in "Unknown 274."
