The Reform Caucus sat for 2x k hours to.night. At the conclusion !*Mr. Massey anounced that the nieet'ing had been of a most satisfactory nature. Positions in the Cabinet had been offered to Messrs Hine and No&worthy, and they had accepted. Cabinet rank had also been offered 'two other members of the party, but negotiations were not yet completed. Several changes in portfolios will take place. Mr Herries hands over the Railways to Mr. Massey, who 'gives up Finance to Sir James AllenMr. Herri-is remains Native Minister. The PreiiUfc.7 states that he expects 'to announce the remainder of the Cabinet appointments in a day of two.
