Received Sept. 1, 9.L5 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 3. No confirmation of the reported destruction of German Zeppelins has reached London, but the "Daily Ex-, press's" Berlin correspondent stales that a report is current that a naval officer, who has since disappeared, ordered,the cutting oi. the suspensory cables, causing the airships to crash to the ground within the sheds. The German Foreign OffLe is ignorant of details. It declares that it had no complicity in the destruction, which, if it actually occurred, was possibly done by malcontents in order to embarrass the Government with the Entente". The number oi' airships allegedly destroyed are variously stated at ten to twelve. ,
