GREEN ISLAND MINING TROUBLE.

DUNEDIN, May 12
The Green Island miners have received a letter from the coal owners agreeing to a conference provided the men resume work within four days, and that the men subscribe to the conditions of the existing agreement. At a meeting to-night the miners decided unanimously not to resume woiik until the conference has been held.
