The Afridi'Mullahs''informed the polihcal agent at Khyber that our troops will be welcomed at Alimesjtd. They are picketing Chora, Kandam and t*her points south of Khyber. Nbne of the Lashkar tribesmen have jesponded to the -Amir's appeal, and his emissaries received no support 3ti Waziristan. v . The Government has proof that disloyal agents in India have been com;* raunicating with the Amir.
