PAY AND PENSIONS INCREASED.

LONDON, May 10
The Admiralty has increased the pay and pensions of petty officers, non-coms., and men of the Royal Navy and Royal marines, bringing the pay up to the Australian naval standard. The increases will cost £2,839,000 annually, and the total cost to £5,447,000 annually, eventually reaching £6,145,0a0.
